The international workshop Navigation and Motion Control (NMC) is organized by the State Research Center of the Russian Federation – Concern CSRI Elektropribor with the support of ITMO University.
In June, 2017, the Department of Information and Navigation Systems of the ITMO University held a workshop "Discrete-Time Filtering for Nonlinear Polynomial Systems with Gaussian Noises". A paper with the same title was presented by Mikhail Basin, a professor of Nuevo Leon University (Mexico) and a specialist of the Integrated Orientation and Navigation Systems international research laboratory.
From 29/05/2017 till 02/06/2017, PhD student of the University ITMO and member of the International Laboratory of “Integrated navigation and attitude reference systems” Mostafa Mansour has taken part in the workshop “Nonlinear observers. Applications to aerial robotic systems”.

On the 12th of January, the International Laboratory «Integrated Navigation and Attitude Reference Systems» conducted a workshop on «Frequency criterions of recoverability and predictability in pathwise setting». The lecture was given by Professor N.G. Dokuchaev – associate professor of the Curtin University, Western Australia.

International Workshop on Navigation and Motion Control being the third stage of the 18th Conference of Young Scientists “Navigation and Motion Control” took place on 26–30 September 2016 at the base of Concern CSRI Elektropribor, JSC at the Ladoga lake.
In 2016, the Multiconference included three conferences united by the common idea: Jubilee 30-th Ostryakov Conference, Conference on Information Technologies in Control (ITU-2016), and Conference on Control in Marine and Airspace Systems (UMAS–2016).

One of the most important achievements of Russian delegation's participation in the China International Conference was the signing of the "Memorandum of Understanding" between Chinese Society of Inertial Technology (CSIT) and International Public Association - Academy of Navigation and Motion Control (ANMC).
From 31 October to 1 November a Joint Delegation, including representatives of ITMO University, State Research Center Concern CSRI Elektropribor, and International Public Association - Academy of Navigation and Motion Control (ANMC) was invited to participate in China International Conference on Inertial Technology and Navigation - CICITN 2016.
On Oct. 29th a meeting was held between representatives of the Department of INS, JSC "Concern" "Elektropribor", Academy of Navigation and Motion Control (ANMC) and the leadership of School of Automation of Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT).
